Airboard and Korolite Insulation
Airfoam's Rigid Insulation is a family of innovative and budget-friendly solutions for wall, roof and below-grade applications. With the highest R-values per dollar and outstanding insulation performance, EPS/GPS products resist moisture and many adverse conditions over very long service periods.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS & GPS) is a high-performance, versatile, closed cell, rigid foam insulation material that uses air as a main ingredient - not greenhouse gases. Adding continuous insulation offers higher effective insulation values than adding similar amounts of cavity-insulation and it can all but eliminate the risk of condensation, rot and mold with proper detailing & installation.
We provide several options of Airfoam products for specific applications, including interior and exterior options.
Airboard® AERO GPS Exterior Insulation
Airboard® AERO is graphite-enhanced polystyrene (GPS) insulation with advanced facers for outstanding, multi-function performance and fast installation.
The reflective metallic facers are perforated for breathability* and can boost the effective insulation value when acting as radiant heat barrier against air spaces.
Airboard® AERO can also serve as a water-resistive barrier (WRB) in low-rise buildings when the seams, penetrations and transitions are sealed & flashed.

Benefits of Airboard® AERO
Breathable continuous insulation, plus water-resistive barrier when sealed, for new construction & retrofits of above-grade walls and more in low-rise buildings.
"Breathable" refers to relatively high water-vapor permeance.
In colder & most temperate climates, breathable insulation is installed on the exterior of above-grade walls. This allows the exterior to dry, greatly reducing the risk of condensation, rot and mold inside framed walls when paired with a vapor barrier on the interior. Note that in many hot & humid climates this is reversed - breathable layer on the interior, vapor barrier on the exterior.

Exceptional Insulation Value
Thinner continuous insulation (c.i.) layer due to very high Insulation Values with zero thermal drift, combined with breathability, water-resistive* and radiant heat barrier properties
Healthy and Comfortable Indoor Environments
Continuous insulation blanket with no formaldehyde nor off-gassing during normal use, while virtually eliminating the risk of condensation, rot and mold
Easy Install
For high jobsite productivity, the boards are multi-purpose, large, lightweight & easy to cut, with markers for fastening and cutting. Lamination allows bending the boards for radius walls.
Environmentally Responsible
Excellent durability & low embodied carbon while using air as insulator - not harmful gases such as HFC that's used in other insulation materials
Reduced Waste & Damage
Double-sided lamination greatly increases board strength & flexibility, while keeping a clean job-site.

Airboard EPS & GPS Interior Insulation and Vapour Barrier
Airboard® combines closed cell (EPS) rigid insulation with advanced polymeric facers for fast installation and excellent durability.

Korolite EPS & GPS Insulation
Korolite® EPS is a high-performance, closed cell, rigid foam insulation material that uses air as main ingredient. EPS insulation resists moisture and mold/fungi growth, has a low environmental impact, high Long-Term Thermal Resistance, and good drying potential over the long service lives of buildings.
Grey Korolite® GPS (Graphite Enhanced) provides up to 25% more insulation value than white EPS.
Adding continuous insulation offers higher effective insulation values than adding similar amounts of cavity-insulation and it greatly reduces the risk of condensation, rot and mold with proper detailing & installation. All Korolite® types are available in various standard and customized sizes and thicknesses, and can be factory-tapered to create drainage slopes.
