SOPREMA: Elastocol Stick H20 Primer 19L

ELASTOCOL STICK H20 is a water-based polymer emulsion primer. It is designed to improve the adhesion of self-adhesive waterproofing membrane on most substrates. Particularly recommended when the use of solvent-based primer is not advised.

RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATES:
Concrete, wood, metal, polystyrene surfaces, gypsum boards as well as on SBS modified bitumen membranes.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surfaces must be dry, clean and free of oil, grease, debris or dirt.

APPLICATION:
ELASTOCOL STICK H20 is applied using a paint brush or a roller.
Membranes must be installed on the same day as the application of ELASTOCOL STICK H20.
Apply primer at a rate of 0.2 L/m2 (0.5 US gal/100 ft2) with a thickness of 203 µm (8 mils). Coverage rate may vary depending of the 
substrate.
Allow ELASTOCOL STICK H2O to dry 1-3 hours prior to membrane application. The drying time varies depending on surface and on 
environmental factors including relative humidity, wind, ambient temperature and other factors.
Let the primer dry completely before covering the primed surface with a waterproofing membrane when the ELASTOCOL STICK H2O primer 
is used on a non-porous substrate.

Minimum temperature application: 5 °C (41 °F).
Product temperature: minimum 10 °C (50 °F) at the time of application.

RESTRICTIONS:
ELASTOCOL STICK H2O must not be used over asphaltic boards (SOPRABOARD). 
ELASTOCOL STICK H2O must not be diluted with water.
